Many people are familiar with Zodiac signs as they have prominently featured symbols across many cultures till today. Zodiac signs consist of twelve constellations, and there exists a possibility that graphic representations of the animals will be used as entering characters in the games. Nevertheless, every character can be expressed in new ways despite the fact that they have existed for a long period of time. One such example is Damon Hellandbrand, an American artist who dedicated himself to creating several digital art pieces in which zodiac signs are depicted as grotesque animals, somewhat scary and uncanny. Most of his works which embraced the theme of the zodiac were composed of their most fair meaning. Lion represents the third sign, Leo; Fish, Pisces, the second sign; Ox, Taurus,’ at the tenth.
Yet, still others of the frightening beasts, start out as simple pencil sketches, watercolour smears, or just about any other medium that I happen to feel like using at the time. Other notable include also drawings and paintings. Of the many unique images he has created, Hellandbrand did most of them with different applications for digital illustration. I suppose Guillermo Del Toro could be considered an influencer since he mentioned that such painters as Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo or Ralph McQuarrie inspired him.
